Joshua Lee, MD, serves as chief information officer for Keck Medicine of USC. He is responsible for the clinical, financial and general business systems that support all entities of the clinical enterprise. He also collaborates with research efforts in the Keck School of Medicine to further the academic and teaching missions of USC’s academic enterprise.

Prior to joining USC in 2012, Lee served as chief medical information officer for the UC San Diego Health System, and was responsible for the enterprise-wide deployment of a continuum of care health record. He also participated in the attainment of HIMSS analytics Stage 7 for the health system.

Lee earned his MD degree at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was elected to the AOA Honor Society. After completing his internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, he devoted an additional year as chief resident.

After completing his residency training, Lee spent four years on the faculty of the Section of General Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
