Zach Pousman

Zach Pousman has built a career pursuing tomorrow’s best ideas. Zach founded Helpfully, an R&D consultancy that focuses on understanding emerging social trends and technology leaps to power new business ideas. Helpfully assists startups and Fortune 100 companies navigate the fuzzy and ill-defined phases as digital products take shape. Zach has led insight gathering, innovation workshops, and digital product design sprints. Zach serves as the chief design researcher at Helpfully, carefully working to develop insights into human behaviors and attitudes.

Over his career, Zach has led digital work for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, First Data, Kroger, Google, and UCB Biopharma. Zach holds a Philosophy degree from the University of Chicago and worked towards a PhD at Georgia Tech where he studied anthropological techniques, design, and technology systems. Zach lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and daughter. He’s an avid hiker, climber and outdoorsman, and happiest on a skateboard or surfboard.
