Ciara Ungar leads the digital marketing and content strategy at the American Advertising Federation. For more than eight years, Ciara has found herself immersed in the world of integrated marketing strategy. She has spent the last six years with strategic focus on digital initiatives, including digital advertising/marketing, integrated marketing, website development, search, social media strategy, email marketing, corporate communications and public relations. Ciara brings a variety of experience from several industries to the AAF’s digital initiatives, including Real Estate, Venture Capitalism, Food & Hospitality, Learning & Development, Corporate Tax & Accounting and Technology from large trade associations and investor groups to small agencies and start-ups. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, LAWS, and Professional Writing from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Communications/Public Relations with focus in Strategic Integrated Marketing Communications (Digital) from Georgetown University.

Ciara spends much of her free time writing books, conducting research and watching the Chicago Bears on Sundays or Baseball on every other day of the week. She loves sports, new experiences and serving the community through such personal endeavors as working with the homeless within the DC community, contributing to the rehabilitation of women survivors of domestic violence, raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness and Heart Health, and fostering and rehabilitating adoptable pets.
