Anne Jacoby, Interim Vice President of AARP TEK has focused her career in learning and development in the technology industry. As a former business owner, she provided tailored training solutions to enable people to use technology effectively within organizations. Additionally, Ms. Jacoby has built multi-disciplined training departments for companies in higher education and private industry. Presently, she leads AARP TEK in expanding curriculum offerings of Technology Education and Knowledge for workshops and online delivery, offering a range of learning resources to meet the needs of the novice and the tech savvy. AARP TEK was created to empower the 50+ by connecting them with friends, family, health information, entertainment and professional opportunities online through technology education. In its pilot year, AARP TEK launched hands-on workshops on mobile devices in many local communities, focusing on digital literacy and online safety.
