Howard Tischler is the founder and CEO of EverSafe, a technology company focused on enhanced financial monitoring and the prevention of fraud and identity theft in later life.   A tool for seniors and the growing number of financial caregivers nationwide, EverSafe was founded after Howard’s mother was defrauded and his research revealed no viable solution to this widespread problem.

A veteran entrepreneur, with experience in business and technology, Howard brings a blend of expertise in financial services, risk management, data analytics and product development to EverSafe. His career includes the founding of several companies, including Intelus Corporation (electronic medical records), Credit Online (an automotive financial exchange) and Enfocel (financial services lead generation). He has held senior executive positions at SunGard Data, First American Financial and First Advantage Corporation. He also served as the Lead Director of DealerTrack Technologies from the time of the company’s merger with Credit Online in 2003 through its IPO in 2005 until its sale to Cox Automotive in 2015.

In 2016, Howard was named by AARP Magazine as one of twenty-five people who bust age-old myths for his work in preventing elder financial exploitation.  He has also been cited by the President’s Council on Science and Technology on “How Technology Can Protect Older Adults’ Economic Security” as well as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s recommendations on how  financial institutions can prevent elder fraud.

Mr. Tischler has an M.S. in Engineering with a concentration in Operations Research from George Washington University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Maryland. He serves on the George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences National Advisory Board, serving as its chairman from 2010 to 2012. He was inducted into the George Washington University Engineering Hall of Fame in 2012.  In 2014, Mr. Tischler established a scholarship at George Washington University focused on technology research and education that supports aging in place.
