Annette Fellows, MBA, serves as Vice President, Health Products & Services, UnitedHealthcare (UHC). At UHC, she leads the Healthcare Transformation Team (HCT), a unique, long-term collaboration between UHC, AARP Services Inc., Optum, and external partners to transform healthcare for seniors. Working with the 4 1/2 million members enrolled in AARP/UnitedHealthcare co-branded Medicare Supplement products, the HCT team improves seniors’ engagement and experience with care, improves health outcomes and affordability, and tests and scales innovations focused on enhancing resiliency and personal determinants of health (purpose, optimism, social connection/loneliness).
Prior to joining the Healthcare Transformation Team, Annette was Vice President, State Partner and Provider Experience at UnitedHealthcare Community & State where she focused on improving operational excellence and Net Promoter Scores for 23 State Medicaid Programs, Federally Qualified Health Centers and other home & community based partners. Prior to UnitedHealthcare, she was Vice President, Client Management for a Global Marketing Company with Fortune 500 clients focused on improving consumer loyalty and employee engagement in order to improve top and bottom-line performance.
Annette has a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of St. Thomas and has completed Executive Development Programs at Carlson School of Management and Wharton School of Business. She is also a Black Belt.
