Alan M. Webber is an award-winning, internationally recognized author, editor, speaker, and consultant. His career encompasses a variety of accomplishments and achievements in publishing, business, and government including:
*an extended stint as managing editor and editorial director of the Harvard Business Review (from 1987 to 1993);
*co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of Fast Company magazine (from 1993 to 2003), during which time Fast Company became the fastest growing business magazine in U.S. history;;
*author of Rules of Thumb: 52 Truths for Winning at Business Without Losing Your Self, published by Harper Collins in 2009 and since translated into seven languages;
*co-author with Richard Leider of Life Reimagined: Discovering Your New Life Possibilities;
*candidate for Democratic nomination for Governor of New Mexico, 2014.
Webber lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with his wife, Frances Diemoz, an architect and woodworker; they have two children, Adam and Amanda.
