Guy Kawasaki is a managing director of
Garage Technology Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm and a
columnist for Entrepreneur Magazine. Previously, he was an Apple Fellow
at Apple Computer, Inc. Guy is the author of eight books including The Art of
the Start, Rules for Revolutionaries, How to Drive Your Competition Crazy,
Selling the Dream, and The Macintosh Way. He has a BA from Stanford
University and an MBA from UCLA as well as an honorary doctorate from Babson
College. |

As Managing Partner at NMI, Mr. French has over 25 years of

wellness, and social sustainability, he works with many
global clients on developing new business opportunities,
strategic planning, and market research projects. He has
pioneered a range of NMI consumer databases that analyze
consumer attitudes and behavior, including NMI’s Healthy
Aging/Boomer Database™. As a recognized industry expert,
Steve’s expertise is also utilized on a regular basis by
global media, is an author of numerous reports and articles,
and is a regular speaker at many industry events worldwide. |

Miriam Rivera |
Miriam Rivera served most
recently as Deputy General Counsel/Vice President at Google
Inc. She was that Fortune 500 company’s first business
lawyer and the “chief operating officer” of the legal
department. A five-year veteran, Miriam led Google's
corporate, commercial, Asia Pacific, Latin America,
employment, real estate and technical operations practices.
Previously, she served as associate general counsel, leading
the revenue and commercial partnership practice for Google.
An attorney and consultant,
Miriam currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Stanford
University. She is also on the Board of Advisors of Virtual
Synaptics, DecisionStreet, and Hispanic.Net as well as an
informal advisor to other start up companies and
entrepreneurs. In Spring 2008, she team-taught a course on
Deals, Vision & Leadership at the Leavey School of Business
at Santa Clara University.CA. Miriam received an AB in
Sociology, an AM in Spanish from Stanford University, as
well as a JD/MBA from Stanford Law School and Stanford
Graduate School of Business. |

Emilio Pardo |

Emilio is a senior executive
with over 17 years of development and management experience
with non-profit, corporate and governmental organizations.
As Chief Brand Officer, he is currently responsible for
creating, coordinating and integrating brand–related plans
from across the enterprise.
Prior to his new appointment,
he was the Senior Vice President, Business Development at
AARP Services. At AARP Services, he was responsible for all
product development, product licensing, new market channel
development, and joint ventures for AARP Services, Inc. He
also managed all strategic alliances and corporate
partnerships efforts for AARP, which included working with
organizations like The Home Depot, United Health Care, The
Hartford Group, Proctor & Gamble and Travelocity.

Orlov analyzes research and trends in the Aging in Place

elderly remain in their home of choice. Laurie has more than
30 years in the technology and market research industry,
first as an IT executive and CIO at high tech companies,
followed by 9 years as an IT industry thought leader at
Forrester Research. In addition to her IT background, she is
enrolled in the University of Florida graduate geriatric
care management program, a certified Florida Long-term Care
Ombudsman and the author of

Sarah Christian |
Director,
Strategic Partnerships, VolunteerMatch
Sarah joined VolunteerMatch in July 2007 to build
partnerships with nonprofit organizations, associations,
foundations and corporations to expand and support civic
engagement with older adults. She brings over 25 years of
experience working with nonprofit organizations. Before
VolunteerMatch she served as Director of Volunteer Resource
Development for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Previously, Sarah worked at the Denver Museum of Nature and
Science. As Manager of Museum Services she developed a
nationally recognized volunteer program as well as led the
Visitor Services, Retail Operations and Restaurant and
Catering Services departments. Sarah has served on numerous
nonprofit boards such as the Denver Audubon Society,
Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, and the American
Association for Museum Volunteers. |

Andy Cohen |
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder,
Caring.com
Chief Executive Officer and a co-founder, oversees the
company's operations and finances, with the goal of
establishing Caring.com as the premier website for people
taking care of their parents and other aging loved ones.
Andy has launched four successful web businesses, taking
them from start-up to tens of millions of dollars in
revenue. In a 20-year career before founding Caring.com, he
held leadership positions in management, marketing, and
sales with S.C. Johnson Wax, Intuit, Peapod, Instill, and
SuccessFactors. He serves on the board of directors for two
non-profit organizations -- Volunteers in Asia (VIA) and the
Los Altos Educational Foundation. Andy holds a B.A. in
history from Stanford University and an M.B.A. in marketing
from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. |
